Greenbank house was wonderful. It was light, airy and spacious and the best environment for our group weekend. The 13 of us were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings whilst having the perfect rooms for eating and socialising. It was the perfect house for our lovely weekend away. Thank you!

Excellent!! very well equipped and very comfortable, warm and a pleasure to stay at, even though the rain was falling, in an excellent situation. A good supply of logs for the two fires, and a very well equipped kitchen. Every bedroom was ensuite, tastefully decorated, but the single bedroom is the only room without a shower, but had a basin and toilet. We will be back!

Green Bank Country House is perfectly situated for exploring the Northern Lakes. We were a party of several families and what we loved was how safe it was to just let the kids roam about the property and gardens whilst we cooked on the BBQ. Super host and everything about the place surpassed our expectation.

My daughter had been telling me for years we should have a family get together, we booked Green Bank and were not disappointed, it slept all our family and there was enough room for us all to spread out inn the different Lounges and rooms. Great place and i only wish we had done it sooner.

We hired Green Bank Country House for a retreat for a group of us for a week. It was perfect, quiet, peaceful and with incredible views, we couldnt have asked for more. Cosy lounges with proper fires and lovely furniture we all felt very relaxed and at home. Can’t recommend the place highly enough.

We drove a long way to meet up with friends from Scotland and we weren’t disappointed, Green Bank House was outstanding in every way. We arrived late but when we got up the next morning we were blown away, amazing place with incredible access to the lakes, we shopped for supplies in Keswick but other than that and walking we didnt leave the house, it was exactly what we wanted.
